Several skin tag and mole removal pens are considered safe for home use by the FDA and dermatologists. Many devices have been known to cause burns and permanent scarring where the mole was previously. As there is a variety of different options, it is crucial that before you purchase a mole removal pen that you do as much research as possible before using one on your skin.
Check Reviews
It is essential to check reviews of the device, check for satisfaction guarantees, and for lotions to check the ingredient list to make sure there is nothing in the product that will cause an adverse reaction. It is also imperative to follow the instructions accurately to make sure there is no room for error on the part of the person applying the treatment. Skin tag and mole removal pens can be an excellent choice for some consumers, as long as they are correctly chosen.
Being Diligent About Melanoma
There are also other things to consider that affect the safety of using mole removal pens, such as whether or not a dermatologist should be consulted. When there is a possibility that the mole that is being removed could be cancerous or could be a sign of other medical problems, then a dermatologist or a doctor should be consulted.
Melanoma is a form of skin cancer that is typically identified by abnormal moles on the body. If a consumer purchases a device to remove moles but never visits a dermatologist to have the moles looked at, they may not know that they have melanoma until it is Stage IV, or life-threatening. It is crucial that even if a consumer chooses to use the at-home devices that they see a dermatologist regarding moles, especially if they repeatedly return after removal.
Identifying Dangerous Moles
The American Academy of Dermatology has come up with a system for helping the average person identify whether or not a mole may be cancerous, called the “ABCDE’s of Melanoma.” To determine whether a mole could potentially be a sign of melanoma, follow the list below:
A- Asymmetry. The mole should not be asymmetrical.
B- Borders. Moles should not be fuzzy around the edges.
C- Color. Moles should not be more than one color (sometimes referred to as two-toned)
D- Diameter. Moles should not be larger than 1/4 inch.
E- Evolving. Moles should not change or grow.
If any of these symptoms occur, a dermatologist should be consulted so that the mole can be evaluated, and nothing else should be done until a dermatologist gives an all-clear.
Several creams that are created to remove moles can, in rare circumstances, cause melanoma. All chemicals put on the skin should be thoroughly reviewed and discussed with a licensed professional before being applied to the skin for any reason. While a product may say it is entirely safe, and even backed by the FDA, it is always the most reliable option to consult your doctor before doing anything to your body that could potentially harm it.

Every 60 seconds, your body sheds over 30,000 dead skin cells.
That’s gross!
But it’s also why your skin loses its shape, sags, and fails to keep its tone and texture. Dead cells can also cause fine lines and dark circles around your eyes, which usually require eye lift serum such as South Beach Repair and Release Cream.
Cosmetic surgery, botox shots, and anti-aging creams are all ways to fix these problems. In many cases, this is a complete waste of money and could even be dangerous to your health.

Dr. Ryan Shelton and South Beach Skin Lab
Dr. Ryan Shelton works at South Beach Skin Lab on the South Beach Skin Solution.
Dr. Ryan Shelton is a Double Board Certified Doctor, educated in Biochemistry with a Master’s from the University of Kansas and trained as a doctor at the prestigious Bastyr University.
You may have seen his groundbreaking work featured on FOX, CBS, ABC, and NBC. You may have even heard keynote speeches at the American Academy of Anti-Aging.
Ryan Shelton has devoted his whole career to fighting the “war on wrinkles.” What will likely shock you is that the solution he suggests is straightforward.
By boosting an amino acid that already exists in our body, we can re-program the way our skin ages and turn back the clock on wrinkles for good.
Do you suffer from aging skin?
If you are one of the 165 million Americans suffering in silence from aging skin symptoms, you may not believe some of what you are about to read.
Some of your favorite brands, even household names that you love and trust, could be deceiving you, marketing products that don’t work, or even toxic for your skin.
The American Beauty Industry is expected to pull in a staggering 62 Billion Dollars this year alone, and a “fix” for this problem could threaten to destabilize the whole monopoly they’ve created. Thus, they want to keep certain things on the down low.
Mary wanted to tighten her skin.
Mary was in her early 50s and was seeking a solution to tighten the skin sagging around her face and neck. She was in a desperate situation as she knew that if she didn’t stop it, then it would get worse.
Mary was considering botox shots, recommendations for cosmetic surgeons, and even laser therapies.
Toxic chemicals like BOTOX really can be dangerous. 1 in every 10,000 cosmetic procedures ends in death.
Mary had tried several high-end moisturizing creams, exfoliated her skin daily, and spent money on a variety of cleansers.
But none of this made a difference, perhaps due to her skin type. It might help prevent further aging, but it didn’t fix the wrinkles that had already draped the sides of Mary’s face and neck.
She then heard about South Beach Skin Lab Repair And Release Facial Cream.
Mary tried this new cream and applied it morning and night. The first 24 hours passed, and she noticed no significant change in the depth of her wrinkles. Days 7 and 8 went by, and still no improvement.
On day 14, something incredible happened. The improvement was remarkable. The depth of Mary’s wrinkles had improved by 15%. It may not seem like a lot, but trust me when I tell you Mary was Overjoyed.
But this wasn’t the end of her results. Over the next five weeks, Mary’s wrinkle depth improved to 25%, then 32%, then 44%. After a full 60 days, HALF of the wrinkles on Mary’s face had gone! As in disappeared.
Outdated Skin Technology
All those expensive antiaging creams, night serums, cleansers, and balms on the market use the same outdated technology. It’s called “Multi-Step Moisturizing,” and it works in two ways…
First, it draws as much water as possible to the skin cells. Then it seals off the moisture barrier on the outside to retain the water. This causes it to fill your skin with water, making it look plump and smooth.
Many skincare products work pretty well until the moisturizer dries out, and it’s time for another application, and then another one and another one. It does nothing to fix the ROOT CAUSE of why your skin is aging.
The Power of Peptides
There is, however, something called peptides. Studies have linked them to muscle regeneration and athletic performance for years.
Cosmetic companies have no interest in “eliminating” your problem. It is far more profitable to market product after product that “treats” your symptoms.
Think about this, if they “fixed” your problem, would you keep buying their creams?
Worse yet, you will be frustrated to learn that this solution has been entirely ignored by the FDA, the big cosmetic companies, and even the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
In scientific terms, a Peptide is a short chain of amino acids, otherwise known as a protein. When peptides can penetrate the top layer of our skin, they can send signals to our cells and tell them how to function.
Essentially they can “talk” to other proteins in our skin. These little peptides are the most effective way to repair wrinkles. When added to traditional cosmetic skin creams, peptides are so potent that they become a new kind of anti-aging cream called a “cosmeceutical.”
Why does our skin wrinkle?
The first underlying cause of our skin wrinkles is that, as YOU age, the structure of your skin’s “epidermis” also starts to age.
Starting from 18, your body’s collagen and elastin production decrease by approximately 1% yearly. Well, this causes your skin to lose its firmness and elasticity, taking away your youthful look.
Nobody loves wrinkles, which is why an easy method to get rid of them is cream or lotion.
There are also expression lines.
Over time, our facial expressions start to CHANGE the physical structure of our skin, and this change registers in our brain as an “INJURY.” When this happens, your brain’s feedback gives the facial muscle the job of protecting the “injured” area, causing your muscle to CONTRACT, and hence forming a wrinkle.
This is where peptides make all the difference. We can now use them to “talk” directly to the proteins in our skin. Using them to prevent these things from happening in the first place, right at the source of the problem
The Conspiracy and why everyone isn’t using it
It starts way back in 1938-the US President at the time, Franklin. D. Roosevelt established the Food, Drug, and Cosmetics Act. This landmark act would become what we now refer to as the “FDA” or the “Food and Drug Administration.”
The Hollywood movie industry was quickly becoming a national obsession, and women were exposed to cosmetics ads from their favorite stars for the first time.
Of course, since there was no oversight of the newly formed cosmetics industry, The government had to establish an organization to oversee the consumers’ safety who purchased cosmetics. But in a MASSIVE oversight, they had only given the FDA powers to manage the “physical safety” of the cosmetic product, but not regulate the “effectiveness” of its claims.
Cosmetic companies promised the “fountain of youth” but sold nothing more than simple moisturizers, leading millions of American women down a false road of hope. The skin creams had high-profit margins, and they began filling the entranceways of every mall in America.
The aggressive advertising tactics of cosmetics brands kept a steady stream of customers rushing through the doors. In contrast, cosmetic companies charged top dollar for cheap skin creams in the same store as some of America’s most trusted brands like Macy’s, Nordstrom, and Barneys.
Things reached a BOILING POINT in 1987.
Cries from consumer advocate groups pushed the FDA to protect women from the misleading ads of cosmetic companies. Under immense pressure to act, they launched a lawsuit against a cosmetics company.
You may have heard of “Estee Lauder.”
The FDA made the case that Estee Lauder’s marketing had become so deceptive it was now making “medical claims” that were completely untrue.
Estee Lauder gathered the whole industry to begin viciously lobbying the government to drop the case. The result was a predictable “checkmate.”
The lawsuit was dismissed by the U.S. District Court in 1989, leaving Estee Lauder and the WHOLE cosmetics industry free to continue to market their products as they wished.
Peptides are 100% safe.
One well-known study by a lab in Switzerland called – Pentapharm Labs found that Peptides were 100% safe and showed that one specific peptide called Synake produced a stunning 52% reduction in wrinkles.
You can use two types of peptides to help remove all sorts of aging symptoms.
The first type is a Neurotransmitter Peptide, or “Neuropeptide” for short. It is especially effective at preventing pesky expression line wrinkles. It uses an all-natural mechanism that mimics botox’s effects, telling the brain to block the release of chemicals that cause muscle contractions on your face.
Neuropeptides protect the skin from treating repeated movements in our expressions as an “injury.” Instead, they prevent it from happening altogether!
The second type is called a “Signal peptide.” Their job is to “signal” what proteins our skin produces. Signal peptides can jump-start collagen and elastin production in our skin again.
A study was done on Signal peptide.
In one study, 23 female volunteers aged from 42 to 67 years old used a Signal peptide cream twice daily on only one-half of their faces. They found that after just two months, there was an incredible 39% overall reduction in the depth of their wrinkles!
When signal peptides and neuropeptides are combined, this unique combination can virtually reverse the clock on your age and erase close to half the wrinkles on your face in as little as 30 days.
But There Is A Problem
The problem is processing raw peptides is extremely expensive, and they are tough to find. But a few labs produced peptide compounds in bulk for different medical uses.
There is a combination that met all the strength and potency guidelines from the studies and exceeded them! It went on smooth, dried quickly, and left no greasy residue. There is also a way to jam not just 2, but 3 peptide compounds into the formula.
Dr. Richard went on to become Head of Skin Care Formulation at the University Compounding Pharmacy in San Diego, California. It was the perfect place to continue working on the research that Mary had inspired.
Not only were Mary’s wrinkles less noticeable than before. The peptides had begun to entirely refresh her skin’s overall appearance:
Improving the elasticity, brightening her skin tone, boosting production, lightening dark spots, and even tightening the sagging, crepey skin around her neck and jaw.
Skin tightening creams can have an amazing effect.
Other women who tried it said:
They felt their skin was softer and more supple.
That they got increased attention from their spouse and friends.
They didn’t feel as self-conscious about their appearance.
Their youthful looks made them feel younger at heart, giving them more energy and confidence.
And the best part, every single woman reported a drastically improved appearance in their wrinkles.
Unfortunately, over 152 million Americans purchase cosmetic creams and anti-aging products yearly. There is no sign that the ever-growing marketing campaigns, backed by celebrities and famous models, will slow down.
South Beach Skin Lab – Repair and Release Cream Review
South Beach Skin Lab Repair and Release Cream is a one-of-a-kind lab-strength anti-aging cream that is proven to “Repair” your skin and “Release” your wrinkles using only the most potent peptides on the planet.
This is because of the combined Neuropeptide and Signal peptides into one easy-to-use cream. You don’t have to worry about which peptides work best for which problem.
You don’t have to worry about mixing products such as shea butter that could harm your skin. And you certainly don’t need to pay for two, three, or even four separate creams!
This is the only anti-aging cream you need in your cabinet.
The best part is that with South Beach Skin Lab Release Cream, there is no crazy skincare routine to do. All it takes is 45 seconds, morning and night. Apply a small dab to your face and neck, and then let the cream do the work. It’s that easy.
Summer is the perfect time to break out your favorite swimwear, but why not try something new this season? From daring cut-outs to modest sporty options, there are a plethora of bikini alternatives that will help you stand out from the crowd. Whether you’re looking for more coverage or just want to show off some skin in a fresh way, these best bikini alternatives have got you covered!
Bikini Alternatives for Older People
Once you become older, you may no longer feel comfortable going to the beach or a swimming pool in a bikini. What was once very pleasurable to wear suddenly becomes a bit embarrassing as you become more self-conscious and the need to find bikini alternatives presents itself.
Although there is no perfect shape of a body, some bikini alternatives actually look better and sexier than a bikini. Less Skin Can Sometimes Be More!
Whatever reason you have for looking for an alternative, here are some that you can choose from:
1. Swimming Dress
Swimming dresses are a great alternative to the traditional bikini for anyone who wants to feel stylish and comfortable in their swimwear.
My friend was looking for an eye-catching one-piece suit that made her look good and allowed freedom of movement. She found the perfect solution with a stunning black and white striped swim dress. It had a flattering A-line silhouette which accentuated all her curves and gave her plenty of room to move around while still looking chic!
This classic style is excellent if you’re after something more modest than your typical bikini or tankini setup. Swim dresses often come with built-in shorts underneath so you can stay covered up without sacrificing any poolside glamour. There’s no need to worry about tugging at things when playing beach volleyball either since they give you enough room to move around freely without having to constantly adjust yourself like you would with a regular two-piece bathing suit.
From bold patterns to understated block colors, there really is something for everyone when it comes to picking out your ideal swim dress. So whether you’re planning a day in the sun or just want some comfy new loungewear, this timeless garment has got your back – literally!
A swim dress is a bathing suit with a flair of a mini-dress. It is comparable to a one-piece swimsuit but offers more coverage over the thighs. While a one-piece leaves the complete leg uncovered, a swim dress will cover the upper portion of your hips. This offers an alternative for those who may not feel comfortable with the presentation of a conventional swimsuit. The loose-fitting silhouette will make you feel comfortable and confident.
Swim dresses come in a variety of diverse styles and shapes. They vary widely with an assortment of neck areas, straps, hemlines, prints, and colors. Swim dresses, too, offer built-in bolsters and control to shape your figure.
Here are five reasons why swim dresses make a great alternative to bikinis:
They offer extra coverage where it counts
The wide range of styles means there’s something for everyone
You get the comfort of wearing shorts without compromising on looks
Their loose fit allows easy movement
They flatter many body shapes, making them ultra versatile
2. Beach Skirts As A Bikini Alternative
If you’re looking for a less-revealing alternative to the traditional bikini, why not try a skirtini? It’s stylish, comfortable, and oh-so-flattering. Plus, it gives you an excuse to rock an eye-catching print or pattern like never before! The swim dress comes in a multitude of varieties of colors, sizes, patterns, and styles. They are made of a thin, light fabric, often with decorative fringing.
You’ll feel confident knowing that a skirtini has got you covered no matter what activity comes your way this summer!
Wearing a beach skirt will hide what could make you feel conscious about your skin such as skin tags, moles, varicose veins, and blemishes.
Skirtinis come with some extra bonus points:
They can be dressed up or down depending on your occasion.
You don’t have to worry about wardrobe malfunctions – these babies will stay put throughout your day at the beach or pool.
Skirtinis are super versatile so you can mix and match them with different tops and bottoms for added style points.
3. Swim Suit
If you’re looking for a sassy and stylish alternative to the classic bikini, look no further than one-piece swimsuits. Slipping into a figure-hugging one-piece will ensure your curves are accentuated in all the right places! After all, who says bikinis should have all the fun?
Aesthetically speaking, there is an abundance of eye-catching options available when it comes to choosing the perfect one-piece swimming costume. From cutouts that leave little to the imagination to subtle ruching along the body.
So why not give one-pieces a chance this summer?
4. Beach Pants
If you have a great body but want to hide hair or skin imperfections on your legs, then beach pants are the best bikini alternative for you.
Beach pants are fashionable and let you break your regular trouser habits.
5. The Scuba Suit
Scuba suits are made from spandex or lycra. They are a great way to hide hair and skin imperfections while compressing loose skin and body fat to give your body a more ‘toned’ look.
It may be a great alternative to a bikini, but we would not recommend wearing a scuba suit on a hot day
6. The Burqini
As a more comfortable and stylish alternative to scuba suits and bikinis, a burqini is a modest type of swimwear that is fashionable and allows you to hide all that makes you feel uncomfortable about yourself. The burqini covers the whole body except the face, hands, and feet. It is light enough for swimming and has a great look to it.
7. Boy Shorts
Boy shorts are the perfect alternative to bikinis!
They offer a relaxed, comfortable fit with plenty of coverage. With boy shorts, you don’t have to worry about constantly tugging and adjusting your swimsuit as you would with regular bikini bottoms.
Whether you’re looking for something printed or plain, high-waisted or low-rise, there’s sure to be something out there that suits your needs.
Many retailers now carry longer-length board shorts that provide more coverage than traditional boy shorts while maintaining a flattering silhouette. If you want full coverage but also need flexibility while swimming, these types of boy shorts are ideal.
8. Bikini Separates
Bikini separates are perfect if you’re looking to mix and match styles that flatter your unique body shape. Plus, they make tanning easier than ever before since you can tailor them to show as much (or as little) skin as you’d like.
Here are just a few of the advantages:
Variety: With separate pieces, you’ll have plenty of colors and prints to choose from.
Comfort: The individual components allow for flexibility in terms of fit and material choices, so you can find an ensemble that suits your needs perfectly and still look amazing poolside.
Support: Different tops and bottoms provide extra support where desired without sacrificing style – think adjustable straps or thicker fabric on top with high-cut legs below!
Mix & Match Ability: You can easily switch up your two pieces by changing the top or bottom portion depending on how daring or conservative you want each day.
9. Monokinis
If you’re looking for a bikini alternative, then monokinis are the perfect fit! These swimsuits defy traditional beachwear conventions by combining the top and bottom of one-piece bathing suits. The result is an elegant yet sexy silhouette that will turn heads at any pool or beach party!
Monokinis (also known as cutouts)come in many different styles that offer something special for every fashionista. From daring cutouts to high-waisted designs, there’s something out there to suit your taste. Plus, they provide just enough coverage while still showing off your curves – so you can feel confident strutting around in this stunning look.
These alluring ensembles aren’t just great for vacations; they also work wonders as showstopping festival outfits when paired with bold accessories like statement jewelry and oversized sunnies. With their versatility and eye-catching appeal, monokinis make it easy to stand out from the crowd no matter where you go!
10. High-Waisted Bottoms
High-waisted bottoms offer the same coverage and comfort as tankinis but with a different look. They provide the same beachside confidence while also giving you an on-trend style to show off. High-waisted bottoms are perfect for days spent at the pool or relaxing by the beach – they’re comfortable, stylish, and always in season!
Whether it’s a bikini top with high-waist shorts or just a pair of flowy linen trousers – high-waisted options can make your summer wardrobe chic and unique. You won’t have to worry about pulling them up all day long like some other styles; their snug fit ensures that everything stays securely in place. And if you want more coverage than a typical two-piece provides, there are plenty of mix-and-match swimsuits out there with higher-cut bottoms.
High-waisted bottoms are ideal for those who don’t feel totally confident rocking a regular bikini; they provide extra support and coverage without compromising on style. Plus, they come in so many colors and patterns that you’ll never run out of ways to express yourself fashionably at the beach this summer!
11. Rash Guards
Rash guards provide more coverage than two-piece bathing suits while giving you a full range of motion in the water. The lightweight fabric wicks away moisture from your body as well as protects your skin against abrasions or rashes caused by saltwater, sand, and sunburns.
Plus, these all-in-one designs come in a variety of colors and patterns, so you can find one that fits your individual style! Here’s why they’re a great choice:
Comfort: Rash guards fit snugly to your body like a second skin which makes it easier to move around without worrying about adjusting straps or pieces sliding off. Plus, they won’t bunch up when wet!
Versatility: You can wear rash guards with shorts, skirts, or even leggings for an effortless beach look. They also double as athletic tops during any kind of physical activity outdoors – think yoga on the beach or paddle boarding at sunset!
Protection: Aside from guarding against UV rays and other elements, their tight fit helps keep jellyfish stings and other hazards at bay.
12. Cover-Ups
According to a recent survey, over two-thirds of women now opt for cover-up swimwear on the beach or poolside.
So why is this trend gaining so much momentum?
Firstly, there is no denying that cover-ups provide more coverage and comfort than traditional bikinis. They also offer more versatility – you can dress up your look with cardigans, long skirts, hoodies, and kaftans, depending on where you’re going and what kind of vibe you want to create. That’s not something you’d get from a pair of bikini bottoms! Plus, they come in all kinds of styles and fabrics: think lightweight cotton, billowy silks, vibrant prints, and elaborate embroidery.
But let’s not forget about practicality too – if you’re taking part in activities such as paddle boarding or swimming lessons, then having some extra protection against the elements could be really beneficial.
13. Board Shorts
While bikinis may be the classic go-to choice when it comes to swimwear, board shorts offer an equally stylish alternative.
Like the perfect song on a warm day at the shore, these bottoms bring comfort and style together in one beautiful package. With their tailored fit and longer length, you can stay cool while keeping covered up just enough to feel comfortable.
Plus, don’t forget about all those fun patterns and prints – from tropical florals to funky stripes, you can show off your own personal flair with ease!
14. Athletic Swimwear
Athletic swimwear is lightweight and comfortable, making it ideal for a range of activities on the beach or in the pool.
Athletic swimwear has long been popular among swimmers, triathletes, and other athletes who require performance-enhancing garments. With built-in sun protection, greater coverage options, and chlorine resistance, these suits are designed with comfort and functionality in mind.
They come in a variety of styles, from tankinis to shorts to rash guards that can be worn alone or paired with board shorts for extra protection from wind and water spray.

Almost all dogs do have whiskers, although the length, color, and thickness will depend on several factors. It depends on their breed, age, and also the individual dog. Just like some humans have more hair than others, it is the same with dogs.
It is unlikely that dogs are even aware that they have more or fewer whiskers than other dogs as whatever they have feels natural to them.
Without whiskers, a dog would find it very difficult to be aware of his surroundings as his whiskers add an extra sense.
Dog’s whiskers are also known as vibrissae, which is another way of describing long, thick hair that usually grows on a mammal’s face.
Why do dogs have whiskers?
There are two main reasons why dogs have whiskers.
The main reason that dogs have whiskers is that the whiskers aid their sense of sight. At the root of the hairs, the follicles can sense stimuli, which then send sensory messages to the dog’s brain.
Dogs’ whiskers also help the dog to sense danger as they offer visual support to sense surroundings. The hairs are very efficient at picking up vibrations.
Just as humans have a sense of touch, dogs similarly use their whiskers.
The other reason that dogs have whiskers is to stop harmful germs enter their bodies. Just like humans have hairs in their nose, in the same way, the whiskers avoid bacteria entering.
Drinking is an efficient cleaning mechanism for dogs’ whiskers. Every time that they drink, the water cleans their whiskers of dirt and grime.
Can you cut a dog’s whiskers?
Removing a dog’s whiskers will not cause and immediate pain or discomfort. However, cutting them will strongly affect the ability that your dog has to be aware of his surroundings. You should let them grow naturally and make sure that any groomer does not cut or trim them.
Frequently, a dog’s whole behavior will change when their whiskers are cut.
Often, dogs have their whiskers totally removed when they enter a show or gala as it is supposed to look better. Cutting whiskers is seen as cruel by many animal lovers.
If you are in a situation when whiskers must be cut for reasons other than cosmetic, you are advised to consult with a vet.
Do dog whiskers grow back?
Throughout a dog’s life, his whiskers will fall off and regrow. In the same way that human hair grows back, so will dog’s whiskers. However, just because whiskers do grow back, that doesn’t mean that you should cut them or take them off.
When they do grow back, they often grow back thicker and longer than before.
There are reports that a dog’s behavior will change if their whiskers are cut off as it affects their personality.
Do dogs need whiskers?
Dogs do need whiskers as they perform an essential function. They give the dog a sense of awareness that they won’t have without them.
You are advised not to get rid of a dog’s whiskers for cosmetic reasons unless the dog specifically asks for it!
After all, would you want your dog to cut off your hair or whiskers?!
Anal Skin tags are an excess growth of skin on the anus. The actual cause is unknown. However, we do know that it is generally due to excessive tension caused by clothes or rubbing against skin.
Anal skin tags are a select type of skin tag that appears on or around the anus or rectum. An anal skin tag compared to other skin tags is usually tiny, measuring a few millimeters in diameter.
What Causes Anal Skin Tags?
Anal Skin tags are caused by the friction of clothing or skin rubbing together. The friction could be due to sitting for too long or having loose-fitting clothes.
Anal skin tags may also be caused by regular diarrhea, as acidity can irritate the skin. Skin tags are NOT caused by cancer and are NOT an indication of any other disease.
Do Anal Skin Tags Bleed?
All skin tags may bleed if they are cut or rubbed too much. Since they are in or on the anus, they will probably be more likely to rub against other skin than if they were in another place on the body. You should avoid them bleeding as this may lead to infection, which can also cause other complications.
If there is bleeding, then it is more likely that the bleeding is from Hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are different from skin tags and should be treated very differently.
How To Remove Anal Skin Tags
There are several ways to remove anal skin tags. The hardest thing about them is that they are in a very sensitive area, so the usual solutions may not be suggested. If you have a skin tag, then you should seek medical help so that you don’t harm that sensitive area. You are advised not to try removing them yourself.
The removal process is straightforward and will take a qualified doctor or dermatologist only a few minutes to do. The whole appointment need only be around 30 minutes.
Are Anal Skin Tags Cancerous?
Anal Skin tags are not cancerous. Skin tags can be confused with moles, which may be cancerous. There is no need to see a doctor if you have skin tags unless they bother you, and you want medical advice on how to remove them from your anus.
Skin tags are benign growths of connective tissue rather than being malignant like a cancerous tumor.
While skin tags themselves are not cancerous, you should keep an eye on the area in case some other marks or moles appear that may be more sinister.
We don’t advise that you use the Spot Blaster Pro to remove anal skin tags in such a sensitive area. However, the Spot Blaster Pro is excellent to remove skin tags anywhere else in the body.

Moles and skin tags are two of the most common skin blemishes. While most of the time they are benign, they can be unsightly and irritate. Since many people don’t know the differences between them, they don’t know when it’s appropriate to seek out medical attention.
So what is the difference between moles and skin tags?
The most crucial difference is that moles are formed when melanocytes skin cells cluster in one spot. Skin tags are small benign tumors that tend to grow in places where the skin rubs together.

Important Differences Between Moles And Skin Tags
As stated above, moles are clusters of skin cells that can appear anywhere on the body. Most people get all of their moles before the age of 25, and the average person has 10-20 moles. They grow slowly over the years and can be flat, but they are more often raised. They are usually symmetrical and circular in shape and black or brown. Moles can change over time, especially in women after they have children.
Skin tags tend to form in creases or where the skin rubs together. Armpits, where thighs touch, and in the creases of your elbows and behind the knee are the most common places. They are benign tumors, or growths, that are typically painless as well. Unlike moles, which are dark, skin tags should be a close shade to your skin tone.
Types of moles
Most moles are called common moles and don’t cause any issues. They are usually smaller than the diameter of a pencil eraser and have even edges and coloration. Atypical moles are larger than a pencil eraser, aren’t evenly shaped, and have multiple colors. They can fade from dark brown, black, pink, or even tan colors throughout. Congenital moles are moles that are there when you are born. They can be any size and can increase the risk of melanoma. A Spitz nevus is a pink mole that is shaped like a dome. It should be watched closely for changes. An acquired mole is a mole that shows up on the skin after birth.
Are moles or skin tags cancerous?
Moles themselves are not cancerous, but they can develop into cancer. When the melanocytes are damaged, they can grow into irregular shapes and become melanoma. The most important factors to watch out for are asymmetry, border, color, diameter, and evolving. These factors are considered the ABCDE’s of skin cancer. If your mole starts to change shape, bleeds, gets a scaly texture, changes color, or grows larger, it’s time to get checked by a dermatologist.
Additionally, you’re at higher risk for skin cancer if you have 50 or more moles on your body. If you are at higher risk, you should check your moles regularly for changes. If you have moles that appear when you turn 20-25 years old, you should also be sure to watch them closely.
While skin tags are small tumors with fat, skin, and nerve cells, they are not cancerous. They are usually so little that they go unnoticed. They are not likely to become cancerous, unlike moles, but if you notice any strange changes, it doesn’t hurt to get it checked out by a dermatologist.
When should you get a mole or skin tag removed?
Since skin tags are not harmful, most people choose to live with them. However, they can grow large and so it is possible to ask your doctor to remove them. It’s a simple procedure that can usually be done in a dermatologist’s office. The most common ways to remove a skin tag are to freeze them off with liquid nitrogen or to cauterize them. If your skin tag bleeds, gets infected, or if there is redness or swelling on or near it, these are all signs that you should see your doctor.
Moles are a little more tricky. If you have a mole that looks off, your doctor will first evaluate its size and shape. Typically, they will complete a full-body assessment to determine if there are any other moles of concern. Anything they believe to be precancerous or cancerous, they will biopsy and have tested. Those moles will often be removed in layers at a single appointment to ensure they get all of the cancerous cells. Depending on how deep cancer goes, you may need additional plastic surgery to reduce the appearance of the spot where the cancer was removed. Another method is to stitch the hole closed if possible.
Can you prevent moles or skin tags?
Yes and no. You can reduce the risk of both moles and skin tags from forming, but there isn’t anything you can do to prevent them 100% of the time.
Moles are influenced by sunlight. Because of this, the best way to reduce the likelihood of getting new ones is to reduce your sun exposure, especially on your face. Facial moles get the most sun exposure, which makes them susceptible to growing larger and turning into cancer. It’s essential to use a quality sunscreen with at least SPF 15 and a hat if you are outside for an extended amount of time. Don’t forget to reapply the sunscreen every 2 hours or so and try to avoid the sun during the harshest parts of the day, which is 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
If you or a close relative have a history of skin cancer, it’s best to wear sun-protective clothing on your arms and legs as well. Suitable clothing will not only reduce your risk of getting new moles, but it will also reduce the risk of the moles you have from becoming cancerous.
Since skin tags are formed by rubbing, especially skin against skin, you can minimize your risk of getting one if you do a few things regularly. It’s best to wear clothing that is soft and breathable. Don’t let your skin rub against itself too often. Leg chaffing from your thighs touching can lead to skin tags, so wear shorts, pants, or leggings that don’t allow your skin to touch.
It’s not too hard to tell the difference between the average mole and the average skin tag. It’s vital to know how changes to either one of them can affect your health, so you know when to seek medical attention.
There are several ways to remove unwanted facial hair. One of the ways that have become popular over the past decade in the West to remove facial hair has been threading.
Does threading work to get rid of facial hair?
So, threading DOES work to remove facial hair. However, there are several factors you must be aware of if you go down this route.

Is Facial Hair really a Problem?
Excessive facial hair becomes a problem if it is causing you to be self-conscious about your appearance. If this is the case, you will probably decide that your unwanted facial hair needs to be removed to restore your confidence.
Male and Female Facial Hair
Men and women share the same problem. But for women, having excessive facial hair, especially in places associated with masculine hair growth, may be highly undesirable. Some of these places may be the upper and lower lip and sideburns. It is usually caused by either hereditary or hormonal factors.
Causes of excessive hair: hereditary or hormonal.
There are two causes for excessive hair growth on your face or other body parts, e.g., arms, chest, and back. It is either hereditary or hormonal.
Hereditary Factors of Facial Hair Growth
Hereditary factors are traits you are born with, i.e., your excessive hair growth is normal for people from your family.
Hormonal Factors of Facial Hair Growth
Hormonal factors, on the other hand, are triggered by drastic changes inside your body, e.g., ovaries or adrenal glands, resulting in hormonal imbalance. This may need the attention of a doctor.
In cases where excessive hair growth is caused by hormonal imbalance, your doctor must determine what is causing the imbalance.
In women approaching menopause, hair growth often happens due to the lack of estrogen (a.k.a. the female hormone). Estrogen is primarily produced in the ovaries.
During menopause and perimenopause, the ovaries produce less and less estrogen, and often in an irregular pattern. This results in a hormonal imbalance where androgen (male hormones) activity becomes stronger, often resulting in masculine hair growths and causing this excess and unwanted hair.
Important Warning About Hormonal Imbalance
If the hormonal imbalance is being caused by certain obstructions, then immediate action needs to be taken to deal with the obstructions. This may be growths or tumors in the ovaries or adrenal glands. Your excessive and unwanted facial hair is just a symptom of a more severe problem.
If your excessive facial hair is hereditary, either you live with it or get rid of it. Getting rid of it changes your outward appearance but will not change who you are by birth. Hair Removal is a decision you make to look better and feel better about your appearance. Or to satisfy your need for approval from friends and peers.
There are (at least) 6 popular methods to get rid of facial hair:
Shaving Facial Hair
Shaving is easy, practical, and very affordable. It involves a metal blade that cuts hair growth off of your skin. It can be done regularly with a great deal of success. The only risk associated with shaving is nicking or cutting your skin, which would expose you to infection.
Waxing Facial Hair
Waxing uses an adhesive (wax) applied on the patch of skin where the hair is to be removed. Before the adhesive dries up and completely hardens, it is pulled from the surface with another medium (e.g., paper or cloth), pulling out the unwanted hair. Waxing is a semi-permanent method of hair removal.
Threading for Facial Hair Removal
Threading involves the use of the manipulation of cotton threads to pull out facial hair from the skin.
Plucking Facial Hair
Plucking often involves the use of tweezers. It is also practical and very inexpensive, you can do it at home, and all you need are a pair of finger-operated tweezers.
Plucking is time-consuming since you need to uproot individual hair strands, one at a time. Also, it is painful. There is the problem of the hair strand breaking without getting uprooted, which could result in ingrowth.
Chemicals (depilatories)
Depilatories often come in cream. The cream is applied to the unwanted hair, and it dissolves the hair. Its action is limited only to the segment of hair growing above the skin, so hair regrowth appears 1 – 3 days afterward.
Laser (permanent) Hair Removal
Three laser treatment methods are considered permanent, including laser, IPL, and electrolytes. These methods attack the root or follicle growth and disable it, limiting hair growth to a very minimal and unnoticeable level.
Threading and how it is done.
Although threading has gained particular popularity over the past few decades, it is an ancient practice that originated in Turkey, India, and the Middle East. Women have been using this age-old method of removing unwanted hair for thousands of years before the practice was first known in the Western World in the 1980s.
Threading is a method of removing facial hair using a length of cotton thread (e.g., 2 – 3 ft) tied together at the ends to form a loop. The loop is held in tension by both hands and twisted several times. This creates a single twisted segment at the center of the loop. This then forms a sideways figure 8 (or infinity symbol.
This twisted segment slides left to right as the loop is manipulated on each side by the thumb and forefingers of the threading technician. This is similar to the open-close action of the thumb and forefinger when using scissors.
Sometimes the threading technician uses her/his mouth to hold the other end of the loop.
When the technician opens her right thumb and forefinger, the twisted segment (cutter) slides left. When she opens her left thumb and forefinger, the twisted part (cutter) slides right. When the technician passes (rolls) the twisted segment over hair strands, the hair strands get caught and get intertwined with the thread, yanking them off the skin.
This twisted segment pulls strands of hair from its follicles in quick action as it moves left to right or right to left. The threading technician guides the loop of thread carefully over your skin. In this way, he will remove line after line of hair until all the unwanted hair is removed or the desired shape is achieved.
Threading is one of the safest natural ways to eliminate unwanted facial hair.
Threading does not use chemicals. Many of the store-bought and salon-recommended wax treatments for hair removal contain chemicals that may harm sensitive skin and may be bad for your health. Also, these chemicals might trigger allergic reactions to your skin.
Threading is 100% all-natural, and the possibility of adverse or allergic reactions is quite remote.
Threading is ideal for sensitive skin. Your skin may not only react to the chemicals in the wax but also to the general pulling action involved in waxing. Waxing involves using sticky adhesive (wax) on the area of your skin where the hair is to be removed. If you have thin, sensitive skin, removing the adhesive wax on your skin may remove a layer of skin or irritate it. This could expose your skin to infections.
Although your skin is also touched during threading, only the hair is pulled and not any part of the skin.
Threading lasts a long time. Because of the complete removal of the hair follicles in threading, it takes longer for new growth to appear. Depending on your skin type or other factors, it usually takes 3 – 4 weeks before hair starts regrowing.
Aside from effectively removing facial hair from its follicles, threading naturally exfoliates the skin surrounding the hair strands through the rolling action of the twisted segment of the thread. The topmost layer of your skin is also cleared of dead cells and cleaned.
Disadvantages of threading.
Threading takes skill. Threading is an age-old tradition that is learned through lots of training and experience. It isn’t straightforward to do threading on your own, in the privacy of your home. Although threading is a very efficient natural way of removing unwanted facial hair, it isn’t that easy. It may look easy, but only because threading technicians are highly trained in the art. Don’t try threading your eyebrows at home if you have no training. You might end up ruining them!
Threading requires the skilled hands of a trained technician to be done right, so you have to spend more. This counteracts the inexpensive nature of threading, as it only requires a length of thread to be able to accomplish. But if you think you have the patience and talent to learn to thread, you can go for it. But even then, it’s best to have a skilled technician or practitioner to guide you.
Threading may cause pain and redness. The experience of pain during threading depends on your tolerance for pain. You may experience slight or sharp nipping sensations as your facial hair is yanked from your skin, but that’s about all the pain you’ll experience. The level of intensity of the pain doesn’t increase. Some women say they experience more pain in threading than in waxing. Still, others say the opposite.
Threading will cause redness in the surrounding area where hair was plucked out. This is a normal skin reaction. The redness (sometimes also swelling) will subside in a matter of minutes or hours, depending on your skin’s response. Applying cold creams or ice packs helps ease the redness and swelling.
Threading can be used only in small areas. This is one general disadvantage of threading. Threading is not such an efficient method if you want to get rid of unwanted hair on your legs or all over your body. It removes hair line-by-line, unlike waxing, which can remove unwanted hair from large areas at a time.
Threading is slow. Threading is not recommended if you are in a hurry. Unless you are an expert, threading should be done carefully and precisely, which is hard to do if you are on the go, running late, or under pressure. Threading is not time-efficient. Your threading technician needs to be sure that every line of hair growth has been passed and that no line has been overlooked. This will also ensure that your hair regrowth will come out evenly.
It causes ingrowth. An ingrown hair often results in hair that is not completely pulled out. This will appear as red pimple-like bumps on the skin, where the hair grows sideways or curls inside. If done right, however, threading will not cause ingrowths. But, there is a certain length of hair that is necessary for hair not to break and be plucked out completely by threading, i.e., there is a certain waiting period before which it is not advisable to thread; otherwise, you run the risk of incomplete pulling which may result in ingrowth.
It is not permanent. Threading is only a semi-permanent hair removal method. It uproots your hair strands right down to the hair follicles, but it doesn’t kill the hair roots. This is the reason your unwanted facial hairs will still grow back. Though they may grow finer (according to some hair experts), they will still grow back.
So, can threading get rid of facial hair?
Yes, but not permanently.
The only way to get rid of unwanted hair forever is to undergo the more expensive hair removal methods, like a laser, IPL (Intense Pulsed Light), or electrolysis. These are labeled ‘permanent’ compared to threading because of the minimal occurrence of hair regrowth in areas where they are applied.
Can threading get rid of facial hair?
In conclusion, there is no permanent way to eliminate facial hair completely. Threading can get rid of facial hair, but not permanently. It can get rid of facial hair for a while, long enough for you not to worry about its regrowth too much.
This is good enough for many of us.
This is the reason why threading has gained popularity as a method of getting rid of unwanted facial hair:
It is all-natural, it is efficient, it lasts, and it is safe.
SUMMARY:
